Teresa Palmisano, Professional basketball player since 1992, has had the opportunity to play professional basketball all over the world.  She started her career in France and has played for teams in Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece, Switzerland and Portugal.  One of her goals was to see and live in as many countries as possible.  Teresa has succeeded professionally and experienced many different cultures along the way.  Teresa sees herself competing for several more seasons in Europe with the desire to come back to play in her own country for the WNBA.  

Teresa went to Buena High School in Ventura, CA, graduated with a 3.7 grade point average and received the California Golden Seal Bearer for Academics.   She got an athletic scholarship to the University of California, Berkeley and Major in Communications with a Minor in English.  She received a degree in the spring of 1992 with a 3.0 GPA.
